SPIRIT COVE

Situated on a secluded cove on San Juan Island overlooking two different Canadian mountain ranges, this 50 acre property is layered with a multitude of ecotones: temperate forest, grassland, wetlands, historic fruit tree orchard, and coastal edge. The family has brought us on to continue the past 25 years of steadfast stewardship. We are working with local stone yards, custom furniture builders, and small producers to craft new hardscape, outdoor furniture, lighting and wayfinding. 

The installation and establishment process will continue over the next few years to ensure the success of renovated areas interwoven with the larger mosaic of the local environs. And with a family wedding approaching, we’re catering our designs to this celebration and its setting amongst the various gardens.
